- madness -had a coxing job today... a first at Pulau Ubin... it was for a competition... and the pay was relatively good.. so yea... met the other coxswain from SDBA at noon... then headed down to Ubin... there... we waited... and waited.. blah blah... till it was like 3.30pm before it finally started.... it is some kind of a 'triathalon' ... except for the fact that the excercises are different... the students first have toe cycle( i dunno the distance)... before rowing for approx 9.2km.... yea... followed by a 3-4km run... yea.. sounds hellish... hell yea... i probably would never enter such a competition volunteerily...
the students were good in an overall sense... have a good teamwork... relatively good stamina and strength... taking the fact that they had cycled before comin to my station... yea... but the rowing session was very very long.... and boring... it was from Ubin all the way back to Seletar... hahaha... yea.. it took approx 2 hours plus.... but.. i still get paid in the end right? hahaha...
nowadays ... been running low on cash.... sad. so calling my buddies out there... any dragonboat events or any other events that pay well... BE SURE TO CALL ME!
